Trevor’s industry background includes more than 25 years of cinematic camera technical and rental experience. Trevor began his career in the original William F. White International Inc. (WFW) Camera department in 1997 as an Optical Technician. When the camera inventory was sold to Panavision in 2005, he made the move over and spent close to 10 years as a Senior Optical Technician. He then joined Dazmo Camera as their Chief Technical Officer.
Trevor re-joined WFW in 2015 to help design and build our Camera department from the ground up. He was prominently involved in its expansion from Toronto to the other WFW locations and began leading the department as Vice President, Camera in 2019. Trevor’s extensive hands-on technical knowledge of camera systems, optics, and support equipment has allowed us to build our Camera department into a world-class operation, providing equipment to top-level productions in markets across the country.
In 2022, Trevor took on additional responsibilities as Vice President, Camera and Virtual Production. Virtual Production is a natural complement to camera due to its highly technical nature and the key role the cinematographer plays throughout all stages of the production, from preliminary decision-making to the final look during the filming process.
Trevor is an Associate Member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), and Companion Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC).
