William F. White International hires Heidi Rasmussen to oversee sales and operations in Winnipeg market

Rasmussen’s appointment to Winnipeg comes at an exciting time as WFW moves to new premises, and partners with Big Sky Studios in exclusive rental agreement.

Winnipeg, MB (April 26, 2023) - William F. White International (WFW), a Sunbelt Rentals Company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Heidi Rasmussen to Director, Sales and Operations in Winnipeg, effective immediately.

“Heidi has extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry in Winnipeg,” says Garin Josey, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, WFW. “Winnipeg’s film and television industry is forecast to see extensive growth in the near future, and with Heidi’s industry networks and impressive sales and operational record, she will help position us for futher success as the local Winnipeg entertainment industry grows in the years to come.”

Heidi has extensive experience in sales, operations, and management roles in the television, radio and entertainment industries in Winnipeg and the Caribbean. She has held previous roles as the General Manager for the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group’s QX104 & 94.3 The Drive, and General Sales Manager for TV Winnipeg Shaw Media.

“It’s great to be back in an industry and city where I have spent most of my professional career,” says Rasmussen. “Winnipeg is ramping up to meet the demands of local and international film and television content providers, and it has a lot to offer. White has secured an exclusive rental agreement. Manitoba’s Film and Media Tax Credit (up to 65 per cent on Manitoba labour, or up to 38 per cent on eligible Manitoba expenditures, and a 10 per cent increase on the labour tax credit on the third film shot within a two-year period) is one of the most competitive tax credits in Canada.
