Toronto, Canada - August 14, 2017 - Paul Bronfman, Chairman/CEO of Comweb Corp. and leading equipment provider, William F. White International Inc. (Whites), today announced that two new filming spaces, the Immersive LED Studio and Whites Space are officially open for business at the William F. White Centre in Toronto.
The Immersive LED Studio (ILED Studio) utilizes a set of 6 independent, state-of-the-art LED panels to create an immersive, controllable and completely customizable environment for content creators, effectively saving them both time and money. Filming believable vehicle sequences is only one of the infinite production possibilities that can be achieved through the ILED Studio.
Whites Space offers clients a 2,000 square-foot, 3-sided cyclorama in a 7,000 square-foot production facility. It comes fully equipped with controllable lighting using Arri’s state-of-the-art SkyPanels which can create a green screen, blue screen, tungsten, daylight, or hybrid lighting set-up in seconds. The space also includes two loading doors, crew parking, an executive lounge, hair, make-up and change rooms, free Wi-Fi and more.
“The combined strength of the Immersive LED Studio and Whites Space will enrich our clients’ experience by providing them with alternative solutions to Toronto’s severe lack of studio space,” said Whites’ Chairman/CEO, Paul Bronfman. “The William F. White Centre is the ideal location, with our ever-expanding inventory of lighting, grip, camera and specialty equipment, along with location services from Whites LES all within walking distance from each studio. You can’t get much better than that!”
The Immersive LED Studio is made possible through a partnership with MVI Multivision Inc., the company responsible for the ground-breaking LED technology on display, while Whites Space is a newly constructed and independently accessible boutique studio within the William F. White Centre.
“Productions like Condor and People of Earth are already taking advantage of the cost-saving benefits you get from using the Immersive LED Studio,” said Steve Morrisson, Whites’ VP, GM Toronto/Commercial Production Services/Live Events. ”Whites Space also has limitless possibilities. You can shoot commercials, music videos, short films, and it’s perfect for stills, too. The best part is that everything you need is right at your fingertips and all under one roof.”
